Withdrawal. That about sums up how I feel right now, post SDCC.



As anticipated, there were TONS of Batman goodies and cosplay this year. Quite a few booths featured Batman merchandise including artist renditions of the famous vigilante. And I gotta say, some of the costumes were intense!





I still have about 500+ photos to sort through so I'll come back and post Batman-related ones later. :)

Goodies

I'll be heading down to San Diego tomorrow evening for Comic Con with my Batman logo tulle skirt, backpack, and tee shirts. You can never sport enough Batman gear!

In case you haven't noticed, there are tons of Batman merchandise being sold right now due to the movie being released in exactly 11 days. I stopped by Hot Topic last night and picked up a few items. The deal is if you buy $30, you get a $15 voucher for next week. And if you buy $25 worth from the Batman collection, you get a free "The Dark Knight Rises" poster. There are three total.



Currently, it's Catwoman (Anne Hathaway).
July 12th features Bane (Tom Hardy).
July 19th it switches to Batman (Christian Bale).

Like Harry Potter, The Dark Knight franchise is also offering a screening of Dark Knight films leading up to a midnight showing of The Dark Knight Rises at select AMC theaters on July 19th. Click here for details. At $25 per ticket ($40 for IMAX) you get to watch all three films AND you get $5 AMC bucks to spend that day if you have a Stubs card! Maybe I'll see some of you there. :)
